Melbourne Camp

ice skatingMelbourne was the best camp I’ve ever gone on. I liked Ice skating the best. Kirsty did’nt fall over once, Aimee fell over three times and I fell over more than 10 times. I think its because Kirsty rollerblades and Aimee used to.

Only Guilt

This is a Wordle about a story I read called “Only Guilt”. It was one of many stories in  a book called “Unbearable”. This is how it went…………………… There was this boy called gary who came to school with a bird cage on his head. His teacher sent him to the school doctor. Gary told the doctor what had hapenened and why he was wearing a bird cage. Well, he liked this girl called Kim  and she had a one-winged budgie. One day, he woke up and saw the dead  budgie in his dog’s mouth! So he went to the market and found a lady packing up her animal store. He asked her for a yellow budgie, so they had to unload the van because the cage was up the back. Gary bought the budgie to Kims house and luckily her family were out. So he was about to put the budgie in the cage but then he relised that her old budgie only had one wing. So he let the new budgie go and got the other dead one. He washed the dirt, blood and dog slobber off and put it in a cage, hoping Kim will think that it died from old age. He felt so guilty that he stuck the bird cage on his head for a punishment. The doctor brought the girl in and she said she was sad because her bird died on Friday!

“No sunday!”  said Gary.

“No friday he died from old age but then someone dug him up.” Kim said.

He pulled the bird cage off and the docter let them both go.

The precubbary

The precubbary was a blast. We went over to Hamilton and we burnt wood so it looked like one of the jungle book characters. We also made woggles, these Elephant things and Chocolate cake in a cup. We went to Koroit and set up tents inside. There was a Girls tent and a boys tent. There was five girls but then two went home. Me and Sophie woke up at three in the morning and stayed up till 7:00. I think everyone should join in the fun of cubs and scouts. Its great you learn all about camping, cooking, nots and lots more.

My Holidays

“Aww” I screamed as the wind smashed the huge drops of rain on my legs like sharp stones rushing at 100k an hour.I was playing netball and the wind and rain was the worst wind and rain in my life. My skin felt like I had a rash all over. It was horible but we won the game. After-woods I had 7 layers of tops on but later I got hot.

Prep/one reading

Our class has buddys in grade prep one that we help fit in to the school. Tomorrow we are writing a sentnce that they tell us to write and we have to get them to read it. Then we cut up the sentence to make it to-day and not today. After that we jummble up the words and let them make the sentence again. We always have to write it the right way so they dont learn to read and write the wroung way. We have to have CAPTIL at the start and a fullstop at the end.

Great books YOU should read

I have just been reading “Matilda” by Roald Dahl. It is a great book. It is about a smart little girl called Matilda. Her Mum and Dad hate her and they don’t believe a little, five-year-old girl can read. She also has some problems at school with her principal. Her principal makes kids eat five inch cakes and caterpaults little girls with piggy tales. Now that’s all from me – now you read it!!

Last year I read a great book called “Star Jumps” by Lorraine Marwood. It was a great book about a young girl living on a dairy farm. Her family started selling the cows and I’ll let YOU read the rest.
